Primary research 2- Focus group/ Experiment

I asked a group of 6 young children I knew from the ages of 5-15 if they would take part in an experiment and they agreed.

I first asked them to go on YouTube and watch anything they like using the device they use most...
4 of the children went straight to their smartphones.
1 went on their iPad and the other went to use a laptop.

I also checked what they chose to watch on YouTube and the results showed;
2 of the children were watching You-tubers/bloggers.
2 of them were watching funny/fail videos.
and the last two were watching repeats of shows and concert videos.

Lastly, I then decided to ask them whether they prefer to watch shows and films on their TV or they're portable device e.g. smartphone, iPad etc.
4/6 said they would rather watch them on their smartphones and tablets as they are portable and you can take them anywhere. However the other two children said they enjoy watch the TV with their families.
